Iron Chef Savannah meets Wednesday, February 11, at 7:30 pm at the church. The theme for the month of February is Chocolate & Candies. Bring your favorite chocolate dish or candies to share as well as a copy of the recipe.
Moms, Tots & Homeschoolers will be making Valentine crafts, cards & cookies on February 13. Meet at 11:00 at the church.
The Savannah Historical Group will meeting on Friday, February 20, at 12:00 noon. We will meet at the Tondee’s Riverfront Bistro in the Savannah Trade & Convention Center on Hutchinson Island. Karen Warner will be telling us about the history of the Savannah River as we overlook the water and enjoy a bowl of soup. There is no charge for this activity unless wish to choose something else from the menu.
Sisters in Service will meeting on Saturday, February 21, at 11:00 am at the church. We will be preparing packages to send to our Servicemen in Iraq. We are now collecting items such as baby powder, hand sanitizer, shampoo & conditioner, oral hygiene items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, mouthwash) & Little Debbie Snacks to include in the packages. If you would like to donate, you can bring these items to church on Sunday, February 15, or to the activity on the 21st.
Emergency Preparedness Group will be traveling to the cannery on February 28. More details to come.
